I was born in the early 2000’s so my first interaction with phones had been with the 2G. Since I was new to this world it looked like the greatest invention I had ever witnessed, being able to talk to relatives, play games on the phone was the craziest thing and object of this size could ever do. Then after, when I grew older I received my first phone this was from the 3G generation there it was even crazier I was able to play games like Minecraft, Clash of Clans, Subway Surfers, and many others for a kid like me at that time, the phone was like a portable video console for wherever I go and for whenever I felt bored, but also I had a greater responsibility since I could not let my phone fully die, mostly because if I get I call from my father or my mom I would have serious problem since that was the main reason why I was given a phone in the first place. Additionally, my phone was the best tool for me to do my homework since the 3G allowed me to fetch websites and get resources to finish my homework, it also allowed me to communicate with my school friends to finish group assignments through video calls or text messages. The amount of information that you could’ve digest as kid through your phone is limitless I had little to no at all restrictions so it is kind of obvious to all the things I was exposed at an early age, now we should even be more careful about the stuff we see on social media and the amount of time that we spend on these sites that does not provide us with good but with time wasting habits. In conclusion, the early stages of the phone invention was the best in my opinion since it was less distracting than it is nowadays, lately it feels like they are even experimenting with us with all of these distractions that just set us off of our path and make our overall performance in life worse and distract the people who lack ambition in life.
